<summary type="text">Título: O activismo estético feminista de Nikki Craft
Abstract: One of the conditions for misogynic genders to be settled in society consists on the existence of a compulsive dominant and universal heterosexual cultural production, which establishes clearly differentiated representation principles of both sexes. These representation principles tend to favour more the man, disregarding the woman. We consider that culture production gives origin to reproduction processes, which means that, in practical terms, the representation of signs, codes, values, and behaviors associated to the sexes are potentially materialized in societies by both men and women. This has been one battle that several women have embraced after the second wave of the feminist movement, namely by the most radical wing. In this battle it tries to claim for new paradigms regarding gender cultural conventions. In this study we propose to analyze some of the campaigns developed by Nikki Craft, a radical North-American feminist who, in the 70s and 80s, would organize and/or lead several protests in public spaces in some cities around the United States. This analysis intends to clarify the motivations and strategies taken by this feminist, whose activisms aimed at several cultural structures (the art world, beauty institutions, and the pornographic industry) that legitimate representations harmful to women.

<summary type="text">Título: As viagens de Nísia Floresta: memória, testemunho e história
Abstract: Among the Brazilian writers of 19th century that registered their travels in books, Nísia Floresta Brasileira Augusta can be highlighted. She was born in 1810 in the countryside of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and lived in Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro before moving to Europe in 1849. There, she visited several countries until she passed away in 1885, in Rouen, France. Among the fifteen titles she published “ including novels, romances, short stories, poems, and essays written in Portuguese, French, and Italian, are the interesting Itinéraire d’unvoyage en Allemagne (Paris, 1857), and Trois ans en Italie, suivis d’un voyage en Gréce (Paris, I vol.1864; II vol. 1871). These books, written in the form of diary or letters, are more than simple reports, since they reveal, according to the taste of that time, the emotions and impressions of the author concerning every city or country that she visited, as well as sensitive descriptions and reflections of churches, museums, monuments, and human types.
