dc.description.abstractAssuming that there should be no obstacle at the state level to the recognition of same-sex unions, due to the respect to be maintained in relation to the free sexual orientation of individuals, as well as the appreciation of the affection that governs family relations, it is necessary that the bookkeeping of the public registry in Brazil, in its daily practice, mirrors that thought, independent of resolutions or orders of service emanating from higher spheres. The public record should not only observe the biological fact, but the social reality.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoAdmitindo que não deve haver obstáculo no âmbito estatal ao reconhecimento das uniões entre pessoas do mesmo sexo, em virtude do respeito que se deve manter em relação à livre orientação sexual dos indivíduos, além da valorização do afeto que norteia as relações de família, é preciso estabelecer que a escrituração do registro público no Brasil, na sua prática cotidiana, espelhe esse pensamento, independente de resoluções ou ordens de serviço emanadas de esferas superiores. O registro público não deve apenas observar o fato biológico, mas a realidade social.pt_BR
